Tibetan monks signal the beginning and end of a meditation period with small cymbals. This chime can be used for the same purpose. The two polished aluminum rods are precision tuned to almost, but not quite, the same pitch. When struck simultaneously, the rods begin ringing with a pulsating beat, which helps heighten and focus awareness. Nice calming sound

Works great
Some of the other reviews of this indicate that it’s hard to get the tones right, but I haven’t had a single problem with it.
